Written Exam Instructions
Before the Exam
Bring your passport/ID and exam timetable.
Arrive 30 minutes early at the venue.
Follow the signs to your assigned room. The supervisor will guide you when it’s time to enter.
Keep your timetable handy and remember your candidate number, which will determine your seat.
Do not bring your own stationery,black ink pens will be provided by the test centre.
Entering the Hall
Turn off your mobile phone and any alarms.
Switch off other electronic devices, including watches.
Leave restricted items (phones, bags, books, etc.) in the area shown by the invigilator.
You may bring water, but it must stay on the floor beside your desk.
Invigilators will check your ID and timetable after you sit down.
Question papers and answer sheets will then be handed out.
If your name is printed incorrectly, notify the invigilator immediately.
Listen carefully to the exam instructions and ask if you’re unsure about anything.
During the Exam
Read the front-page instructions before starting.
Do not open the paper until permitted.
Complete the exam within the given time, no extra minutes will be added.
Use a pen or pencil as directed by the invigilator.
Writing Paper: Stay within the grey lines, use extra pages for rough notes.
Listening Paper: The audio will play with pauses and will be repeated twice. You’ll have time to transfer answers.
Cheating, talking, or using banned devices can lead to disqualification.
To use the toilet, raise your hand. An invigilator will accompany you, but no extra time will be provided.
Time reminders will be given at the 10 minute and 5 minute marks.
Finishing the Exam
When told to stop, put down your pen immediately.
Remain seated until the invigilators collect all papers and answer sheets.
Leave only when instructed.
After the Test
Take your personal belongings with you.
Keep your exam timetable safe—you’ll need it to check your results online.
If Any Problems Occur
Report any issues (illness, loud disturbances, etc.) to the invigilator/supervisor immediately.
Speaking Exam Instructions
Getting Ready
Carry your passport/ID and timetable.
Arrive at least 15 minutes early.
Follow the signs to the speaking test area.
The coordinator will verify your ID and attendance.
Stay in the waiting area quietly until your turn.
Report any spelling errors in your name to the coordinator.
While Waiting
Turn off and hand over your phone and devices.
Speaking tests are done in pairs, your partner will be assigned as per the schedule.
If someone is absent, partners may be rearranged.
You’ll receive a mark sheet, keep it clean and hand it to the examiner inside the room.
If candidates are uneven, the final group will be a set of three (tests cannot be done individually).
